XFS on CentOS

Hi,


CentOS from skysilk has ext4 filesystem, does anyone know how to install/convert to xfs ?

Hey Harry,


The default file system for LXC containers (which is what we use at SkySilk currently) is ext4 as you have noticed. Unfortunately, there is no simple method to convert/create a container with XFS. 


If you have a specific requirement that is not served by ext4 feel free to share it with us and we’ll do our best to find an accommodation for you.


Understood, unfortunately right now our infrastructure only supports ext4 at this time. If/when we add compatibility with xfs we will update all users accordingly.
